Preparation Steps
- Start by rinsing and pitting the fresh cherries—you'll need about 2 cups. Set aside while you gather other ingredients.
- In a high-speed blender, combine the pitted cherries, 2 cups of filtered water, and your sweetener. Blend on high until smooth.
- Strain the blended cherry mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a bowl or pitcher, pressing down to extract as much juice as possible.
- Add one cup of filtered water and the freshly squeezed juice from 6-8 limes to the strained cherry juice. Stir well to combine.
- Fill tall glasses with ice cubes and pour the cherry-lime mixture over the ice.
- Garnish each glass with a slice of lime and a cherry on top.
- Store any leftovers in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Stir well before serving.
