Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and place a baking sheet inside to warm.
- Roll out the puff pastry on parchment paper until about 1/8-inch thick, then cut to fit the baking sheet.
- Thinly slice the apples, pat them dry if necessary, and arrange them on the pastry with a 1-inch border.
- Sprinkle the shredded white cheddar over the apples, then add fresh thyme.
- Fold the edges of the puff pastry over the filling and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 25 minutes until golden brown and puffy.
- Let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
