  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce or balsamic vinegar

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the Rice: In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of uncooked jasmine rice with 2 cups of beef broth. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes. Fluff and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Onion: In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Cook the Beef: Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks. Brown for 5-7 minutes, draining excess fat.
  4. Add Veggies: Stir in 2-3 sliced bell peppers and 2 cloves of minced garlic. Cook for 5 minutes until the peppers are softened.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Fold in cooked jasmine rice, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, and seasonings. Heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Serve & Garnish: Spoon into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot.
