Cooking Steps
- In a large pot, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat.
- Add sliced chicken sausage to the pot and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned.
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, just until fragrant.
- Introduce broccoli florets to the pot and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the orzo along with chicken broth, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Reduce heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes.
- Remove the pot from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve your Chicken Sausage and Broccoli Orzo hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
