- In a large pot, heat over medium-high heat and add the ground pork. Cook for 5-7 minutes, breaking it apart until browned. Season with salt and pepper, and drain excess fat if needed.
- Stir in the diced yellow onion, minced garlic, and grated ginger into the pot with the browned pork. Sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion turns translucent.
- Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar to the pot; mix well. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil.
- Once boiling, add shredded carrots and green cabbage. Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes; stir in half of the chopped green onions.
