- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
- In the greased baking dish, combine 1 cup of long grain white rice, 1 packet of French onion soup mix, 2 cups of beef broth, and 1 cup of water. Stir well.
- Slice 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter into thin pats and scatter them over the rice mixture.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
