Preparation Steps
- Drain excess water from the silken tofu and slice into ½ to 1-inch thick pieces.
- In a mixing bowl, combine minced garlic, soy sauce, black vinegar, sesame oil, vegetarian oyster sauce, sugar, and chili oil.
- Prepare your steamer or a makeshift one with a heatproof plate atop a pot.
- Steam the tofu for 8-10 minutes until warm and slightly firmer.
- Carefully remove tofu from the heat, place on a serving plate, and pour the soy garlic sauce over the top.
