  • 1 teaspoon salt adjust according to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper preferably freshly ground
For the Vegetables
  • 1.5 pounds baby potatoes red or Yukon gold can be used
  • 6 cloves garlic minced, fresh is best
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped, optional for garnish
For Cooking
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter can substitute with olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil vegetable oil can be used

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine beef stew meat with Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, Italian seasoning, and smoked paprika. Mix until well-coated.
  2. Layer halved baby potatoes at the bottom of the slow cooker. Drizzle half of the melted butter and olive oil over potatoes, followed by minced garlic.
  3. Place the seasoned beef mixture on top of the potatoes. Pour remaining melted butter and olive oil over beef.
  4. Cover slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  5. Once cooking time is complete, gently stir the contents before serving. Optionally garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
