Step-by-Step Instructions for Quick Sourdough Discard Naan
  1. Mix sourdough discard and yogurt in a medium bowl for 1-2 minutes until smooth.
  2. Add flour, baking powder, and salt to the wet mixture and stir for 2-3 minutes until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead dough gently on a floured surface for 1-2 minutes, then shape into a ball and return to the bowl.
  4. Cover with a kitchen towel and let dough rest for 20-30 minutes.
  5. Divide dough into 4-6 portions, roll each into a thin oval shape on a floured surface.
  6. Heat skillet on medium-high for 5 minutes, until hot.
  7. Cook naan on skillet for 1-2 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  8. Brush with ghee or olive oil and serve warm.
