Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the Lemon Curd: Combine fresh lemon juice, sugar, and water in a double boiler over medium heat until dissolved. Whisk eggs and cornstarch in a separate bowl, then add to the lemon blend. Cook for 6-9 minutes until thickened and cool in the refrigerator.
  2. Make the Mascarpone Filling: Whisk together mascarpone cheese, whipping cream, and powdered sugar until fluffy. Chill for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Soak the Ladyfingers: Warm some milk and dip each ladyfinger quickly. Lay them in a single layer in an 18x30 dish.
  4. Assemble the Tiramisu Layers: Spread a quarter of the mascarpone filling over the ladyfingers, add half the cooled lemon curd, and repeat the layering process.
