For the Pita Pizzas
  • 4 pieces Flatbreads or Pita Breads naan or tortilla can also be used.
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken use grilled or rotisserie chicken for convenience.
  • 1 cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes fresh tomatoes can be used if unavailable.
  • 2 cups Baby Spinach Leaves (torn) kale or arugula can also be alternatives.
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese can substitute with other melting cheeses.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven or air fryer to 350°F.
  2. In a medium saucepan, combine heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese. Whisk until incorporated and bring to a simmer.
  3. Make a slurry by mixing all-purpose flour with water and add to the sauce, stirring continuously until thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Lay the pita breads flat and spread about 3 tablespoons of Alfredo sauce on each pita.
  5. Top each pita with cooked chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, spinach leaves, and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. For air fryer, cook pizzas one at a time for 5-6 minutes until the cheese is melted and edges are crispy.
  8. Serve warm with remaining Alfredo sauce on the side.
