Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a 4-6 quart crockpot, add the frozen Mrs. T's Cheddar Pierogies, sliced kielbasa, 3 cups of chicken broth, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Gently stir everything together.
  2. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste, ensuring an even distribution throughout the dish.
  3. Cover the crockpot and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6 hours, ideally on low for better flavor.
  4. About 30 minutes before serving, warm the remaining 1 cup of chicken broth and 8 oz of cream cheese in a small saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  5. Stir the cheese sauce into the crockpot mixture and top with the remaining shredded cheese.
  6. Continue cooking on low for an additional 30 minutes until bubbling and cheese is melted.
  7. Serve hot from the crockpot, garnishing with sliced green onions if desired.
