Preparation

  5. Place the assembled gyro in an oven-safe dish, adding water or stock to the bottom.
  6. Bake for 75-90 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for about 10 minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
  8. Assemble your gyros with warm pita, sliced chicken, tzatziki sauce, and your favorite veggies.
