Preparation Steps
- Brew 2 cups of strong coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature. If desired, mix in 2 tablespoons of coffee liqueur for added flavor depth.
- In a mixing bowl, whip 1 cup of cold heavy cream until soft peaks form, about 3-5 minutes.
- Combine 8 oz of softened mascarpone cheese with ½ cup of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract in a separate bowl. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture without deflating it too much.
- Dip ladyfingers briefly into the cooled coffee mixture, then arrange them at the bottom of your serving glasses.
- Spoon a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers in each glass. Repeat the layering until the glasses are filled.
- Dust with unsweetened cocoa powder and sprinkle with grated dark chocolate. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Serve directly from the fridge and enjoy the dessert once chilled.

Notes
For the best flavor, allow the Tiramisu to chill overnight. Quality ingredients make a significant difference in the overall outcome.
